Sustainable Action’s mission is to promote bicycling as a safe and viable form of transportation. Through our library of bicycles participants can obtain a safe loaner ride for a low cost; our hope is that this will lead to more riders on the streets and therefore fewer cars, healthier people and a happier place to live.

The primary office is located in Evanston, IL though our first and currently only Bike Library is in El Portal, California, gateway to Yosemite National Park.
